Senior Property Manager

Responsibilities
Oversees one or more multi‑family apartment complexes
Is accountable for all income (rents) and expenses for buildings
Leads, motivates, and manages onsite team including leasing agents
Manages paperwork flow between prospective residents and corporate office
Follows up on maintenance/repair requests and ensures properties stay in excellent condition
Addresses resident complaint phone calls and follows up, ensuring continuing resident satisfaction
Collects monthly rents and administers collection procedures when needed
Audits apartment complexes to ensure a high level of quality
Successfully passes annual Section 8 unit screening to ensure continued revenue
Performs routine drive‑by or walk‑by checks of properties at various times throughout the day/night
Treats tenants and property as if they were your own
Qualifications
Hours: Monday–Friday 9 am–6 pm
Minimum 5 years’ experience in property management (10+ years preferred)
Managed at least over 150 units at once as an onsite PM
Managed and oversaw the onsite maintenance team & APM
Rough understanding of building mechanicals is preferred
Trained in Appfolio preferred
Familiarity with reviewing financial statements preferred
Knowledge of maintaining collections
