Ascensa Health has been serving the Atlanta community for 60 years; providing comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment and an integrated system of care. Our mission is to provide a behavioral health system of care that sustains long term recovery from the disease of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders and returns the at-risk individual to their families and communities. The agency is currently seeking a Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Program Coordinator to manage the day-to-day functions of all aspects of the Medication Assisted Treatment Program. Duties include but are not limited to: 1.MAT program development. 2. Manages day-to-day functions of all aspects of the MAT Program, including treatment programming, documentation, and scheduling of medications. 3. Oversees/Guides the CARES case manager in managing the day-to-day functions of all aspects of the program. 4. Maintains small caseload providing individual counseling session for clients. Conducts weekly therapy groups and completes required records for clients on caseload and in group therapy according to agency guidelines. Will conduct Comprehensive Assessments and other relevant documentation. 5. Identifies the agency and community resources available to meet the client’s assessed needs. When assigned will attend other agencies or outside resources in order to ensure adequate client numbers to maintain the MAT program. 6. Networks with the community services resources and remains apprised of relevant developments in services provided by those sources. Communicates developments to relevant clinical staff to ensure proper utilization of resources for clients.

Qualified candidates MUST possess an LAPC, LPC, LMSW, or LCSW or CADC-II. Experience in Substance Use Disorder and Medication Assisted Treatment is preferred. EOE/ Drug Free Workplace
