Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding: Post job openings and review applications. Schedule interviews and coordinate with candidates and hiring managers. Assist with background and reference checks. Manage the onboarding process and create/maintain employee files. Record Keeping
Maintain accurate employee records (physical and digital). Ensure compliance with all legal and organizational requirements. Administrative Support
Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, benefits, and employment. Process paperwork for leaves of absence, terminations, and other HR actions. Compensation & Benefits
Assist in administering benefits plans and answer employee questions. Provide support in processing payroll. Training & Development
Coordinate orientations, training sessions, and seminars. Support performance review processes and track participation. Compliance & Reporting
Stay current on employment laws and regulations. Prepare and submit required HR reports. Employee Relations
Support employee engagement initiatives and events. Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns. Key Skills And Competencies
Interpersonal and communication skills: Essential for handling employee relations and mediating issues. Problem‑solving skills: Effective problem‑solving and conflict resolution skills are key for managing employee relations. Time management and organization: Managing multiple HR tasks efficiently. HRIS proficiency: Familiarity with Human Resource Information Systems and tools like MS Office, Zoom, and payroll software. Recruitment and onboarding: Experience with interviewing, background checks, and orientation processes. Payroll and benefits administration: Assisting with compensation, benefits, and compliance. Policy knowledge: Understanding of labor laws and HR regulations at local, state, and federal levels. Confidentiality: The ability to maintain strict confidentiality is paramount. Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Associate’s degree along with at least two years of relevant experience may be considered. Certification Desired
SHRM-CP (Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional) PHR (Professional in Human Resources) HR Certification Institute (HRCI) credentials Experience Requirements
1–2 years of HR or administrative experience. Seniority level
