Family Law Paralegal
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – Remote / In-Office)
Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 DOE
About the Role We are seeking an experienced Family Law Paralegal to join our team in Dallas. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a passion for supporting clients through sensitive and complex family law matters. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, with a balance of remote flexibility and in‑office collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests / responses, and other family law documents.
Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court schedules to ensure timely filings.
Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for attorney review.
Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other stakeholders.
Organize, maintain, and update case files (both electronic and physical).
Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
Handle billing entry, time tracking, and related administrative tasks.
Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years of family law paralegal experience (Texas‑specific preferred).
Strong knowledge of Texas Family Code, court procedures, and filing requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with legal software (Clio, MyCase, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines.
Certification as a paralegal (CP or equivalent) strongly preferred.
