Human Resources Program Manager (Examination Validation and Maintenance Manager)
CalHR is seeking an experienced, analytical, and innovative leader to develop, maintain, and administer state civil service examinations through the Selection Services Program (SSP). The examinee will coach a small team of analysts, support examination maintenance, programming, user acceptance testing, and ensure timely responses to SSP inboxes. Responsibilities
Oversee a small team of exam analysts in examination maintenance and technical support. Program and validate state civil service examinations, including user acceptance testing (UAT). Co‑supervise exam programming and multiple SSP inboxes to ensure accurate and timely responses. Coach, mentor, and evaluate staff workload, performance, and quality of work. Serve as a technical expert and liaison for complex examination issues. Qualifications
Strong experience supervising and developing analytical staff, including coaching, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance. Proven experience conducting and managing examination projects, including developing standard operating procedures, programming examinations, conducting UAT, and evaluating minimum qualifications. Demonstrated ability to serve as a technical expert and liaison for complex examination issues. Class Specification
