Requirements Must have:

minimum of 2 years of IT support experience within a MSP setting, or a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related discipline.

strong customer service orientation and excellent communication abilities.

capable of clearly articulating technical concepts to individuals without a technical background.

proficiency in Windows operating systems (both Desktop and Server) is essential.

hands‑on experience with networking devices.

familiarity with virtualization, preferably Hyper‑V, is expected.

Responsibilities

provide first and second‑level support for desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.

troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows Desktop and Server operating systems.

support and administer Microsoft 365 tools, such as Intune, OneDrive and SharePoint.

configure and maintain networking hardware, including firewalls, switches and access points.

accurately document issues and their resolutions in the ticketing system.

keep knowledge of MSP services and tools current.

assist with virtualization environments, specifically Microsoft Hyper‑V.

move and set up equipment up to 50 lbs when required.

perform other tasks as assigned by the Help Desk Lead.

Company I am seeking a Level 2 Help Desk Technician to deliver technical support to our clients across various hardware, software, networking, and server infrastructures. You will be a vital part of our team, addressing issues, providing outstanding customer service, and ensuring our clients experience seamless operations. This is a full‑time position located onsite in Houston, TX. Compensation ranges from $60,000 to $65,000, with opportunities for growth. We also offer 2 weeks of paid time off, a 401K plan, health insurance, and bonus potential. As part of your role, you will make client site visits approximately 5 to 6 times a week.
