Job Overview The Sales Data Lead will serve as a strategic partner to the Finance organization and commercial functions, leveraging data to drive business performance. This role is responsible for analyzing complex sales data, building interactive dashboards, and providing actionable insights to inform decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., Brand, Marketing, Retail, Fleet, Network Development, Mopar) to understand business needs and translate them into data-driven insights.

Perform advanced data analyses to answer key business questions related to sales performance, revenue trends, and financial outcomes.

Develop, maintain, and optimize interactive dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs and performance metrics.

Partner closely with Finance to align analytical outputs with financial objectives, forecasts, and budget targets.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within sales reporting and analytics workflows.

Communicate findings and recommendations to senior leaders through clear presentations and storytelling.

Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all reporting systems.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field.

8+ years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or financial analysis roles.

Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).

Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and charting.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and draw actionable insights.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.

Experience working in automotive, retail, or similar high-volume sales environments.

Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data querying/scripting languages.

Experience supporting Finance teams with revenue forecasting, budget tracking, or profitability analysis.

Demonstrated ability to build scalable dashboards and reporting frameworks.
