Base pay range
$30.00/hr - $35.00/hr
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for 8–10 active roles, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding.
Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements, oversee applicant tracking, and support workforce planning and expansion efforts.
Provide HR support in areas such as employee relations, performance management, and policy interpretation; assist with employee complaint resolution when needed.
Coordinate employee engagement programs including new hire orientation, recognition initiatives, and wellness activities to promote a positive workplace culture.
Maintain and update employee records, process personnel changes, and ensure compliance with internal policies, benefit plans, and union agreements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an HR Generalist or recruitment-focused role.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative and solutions-oriented approach.
Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred); knowledge of employment laws and union environments is a plus.
Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
