Required Qualifications
Tenure‑track (Assistant/Associate Professor):
Doctorate in Agriculture, Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness. Minimum of 18 graduate‑level hours in Agri‑Business or an equivalent combination of Business and Agriculture. Near‑completion Ph.D. candidates considered.
Non‑tenure‑track (Lecturer):
Master’s in Agricultural Business or a closely related field focused on applied agribusiness with at least 18 graduate‑level hours in Agri‑Business or combined Business and Agriculture. Strong commitment to undergraduate education, excellent communication skills, team player, leadership skills, and current technical knowledge.
Preferred:
Experience or coursework in the business aspects of livestock production.
Primary Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agri‑business, including Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, Farm & Ranch Records, Natural Resource Economics, etc. Additional graduate courses may be taught depending on department needs and individual interests.
Advising student clubs and participating in departmental activities.
Engage in faculty governance and service at departmental, college, and university levels.
Conduct scholarly activity, including scholarship of teaching, research, or related activities.
Practice safe work habits and exercise due caution at all times.
