For the tenure track Assistant/Associate Professor: Doctorate in Agriculture, Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness. Candidates should have at least 18 graduate level hours in Agri-Business or a combination of Business and Agriculture. Ph.D. candidates who are near completion will be considered.
For the non-tenure track lecturer: Masters in Agricultural Business or a closely related field with a focus on applied agribusiness. Candidates should have at least 18 graduate level hours in Agri-Business or a combination of Business and Agriculture.
Must have a strong commitment to undergraduate education and possess excellent communication skills; be technically current; be an enthusiastic team player willing to work in a multidisciplinary program; and have demonstrated skills in leadership. Preferred Qualifications
A focus on applied Agriculture Business Background, experience or course work in the business aspects of livestock production. Primary Responsibilities
Candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in agri-business, including courses such as Ag Economics, Ag Marketing, Farm & Ranch Records, and Natural Resource Economics. Additional responsibilities include serving as an advisor for student clubs, participation in departmental sponsored events, faculty governance, and engagement in scholarly activity, broadly defined to include teaching, research, or similar activities. Responsible for personal safety and the safety of others; must exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Other Information
