Staff Accountant
to support plant operations and play a key role in financial reporting, cost analysis, and process improvement. This is a visible role with direct access to executive leadership and strong potential for career advancement within a stable and thriving environment.
The Staff Accountant will provide essential financial support to the plant operations team, ensuring the accuracy of cost data, inventory reporting, and overall financial integrity. This position will be responsible for supporting month‑end close activities, maintaining standard costs in SAP, and assisting with variance analysis and inventory metrics. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, analytical, and eager to grow within a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
Position Summary Under general supervision, in accordance with established policies, perform general cost accounting and manufacturing finance duties by performing the following:
Support month‑end close activities, including journal entries, general ledger and manage financial records for accuracy.
Cycle count reporting and physical inventory.
Help manage the cycle count process, including document creation and posting for accurate financial adjustments.
Maintain standard material costs in SAP in accordance with corporate cost guidelines.
Monitor and resolve material movement errors to ensure data integrity across systems.
Execute ad‑hoc work order settlement requests and support related reporting needs.
Assist with weekly reporting of work order variances and inventory metrics.
Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations as part of the close process.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with large ERP systems (SAP preferred).
0–4 years of accounting experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
