Human Resources - Administrative Assistant
Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in Chicago office, 2 days remote. This role supports HR operations with administrative tasks including scheduling, data entry, document management, report generation, and project coordination.
Responsibilities
Maintain confidentiality.
Perform routine and non-routine administrative tasks.
Review high volume of HRIS data entry submittals for accuracy.
Prepare and complete new hire and rehire employee data submissions for HRIS entry and onboarding readiness.
Follow up with new hires/rehires to ensure completion of onboarding paperwork.
Communicate with hiring managers to obtain required information.
Enter, compile, and generate reports.
Qualifications
High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 3 years of administrative experience.
Exceptional attention to detail and proofreading skills.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
Team player, self‑starter, flexible.
Fluent in English.
Experience operating office equipment.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
Valued, but Not Required
College education in human resources, English, business administration, or related field.
Experience in a production environment with a focus on accuracy goals.
Experience in HR, engineering, or power‑industry field.

Compensation Salary range:
$46,080.00 – $69,550.00 per year, plus discretionary bonus eligibility.
