Job Summary Special procedures radiology technologist responsible for diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab under the direction of the Medical Director and First Line Supervisor, in accordance with departmental procedures and radiation safety protocols. Performs various duties associated with this position and treats patients of all ages.
Responsibilities Assist in the performance of diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, maintain radiation safety, and support all clinical activities required by this position.
Minimum Requirements
2 years prior experience as a Technologist.
Graduate of a Radiology Program.
Current CA CRT certification.
Six (6) months experience in Cath lab/Special Procedures preferred or enrollment in a Cath Lab training program or internship.
Current BLS Card required.
Preferred Qualifications
ARRT Certification.
Ability to understand radiological terms used in patient treatment and to perform basic algebra calculations.
High school graduate.
Pay Range $60.02 – $69.58 /hour
Benefits & Bonuses $10,000 sign‑on bonus offered for qualified new hires. Current employees are not eligible.
Location & Work Environment St. Joseph's Medical Center is a member of Dignity Health, a not‑for‑profit regional hospital with 395 beds, over 400 physicians, and more than 2,400 employees. The center specializes in cardiovascular care, cancer services, and women and children’s services, including neonatal intensive care.
