ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Accounting Manager position is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This person will handle month‑end closing (journal entries, reconciliations, reports), and account analysis.
Participate in monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables (journal entries, reconciliations, reports)
Management reporting
Coordinate and complete internal and external audits
Prepare income statement and balance sheet flux analysis for quarterly audits.
Maintain the chart of accounts in the general ledger.
Prepare lease accounting schedules and entries in compliance with GAAP and IFRS
Supervise accounting team
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
5+ years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role
Strong analytical skills and good work ethic
Excellent attentiveness to detail
Strong self‑starter and ability to work independently and with little supervision
Able to meet deadlines given accurate and complete information
Able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS
Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
5 or more years of accounting experience in a medium to large‑sized organization
Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
GAAP and IFRS experience preferred
SENIORITY LEVEL Mid‑Senior level
