Base pay range $23.00/hr - $31.00/hr
Position Summary As a Produce Department Lead you will drive sales in your area and supervise your team of hourly associates to deliver to our members more of what they love, for less. You will model expertise in Produce and work collaboratively with other team leaders to ensure the total club meets the member’s expectations.
What you'll do
Lead the team in the Produce and Floral area to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club.
Communicate goals of the department, execute company programs, adhere to policies, and advocate for the member, associate and the company.
Collaborate with other team leaders to ensure the club meets member expectations.
Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of business on the floor and backroom operations, ensuring quality, inventory, production, sanitation, equipment usage, safety, and compliance.
Manage seasonality and item volume, prioritize time across areas, and provide training and knowledge sharing.
Leverage digital tools to plan and drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
Make immediate business decisions and adopt new tools to support production, training, and product quality.
Provide ownership and drive business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, profitability, and a clean, safe work area.
Maintain adequate staffing, audit and compliance standards, and produce/display merchandise per plan.
Teach and train the team for high quality products, career growth, and talent sourcing.
Apply compliance, ethics, and integrity, including open‑door policy and report issues.
Work collaboratively with managers, coworkers, and partners to meet business needs, improve processes, and resolve issues.
Lead and share resources, information, and tools; balance short‑ and long‑term priorities.
Respect diversity, foster belonging, and motivate team members.
Act with integrity, honesty, fairness, and transparency.
Serve customers and members, making data‑driven decisions.
Strive for continuous improvement and embrace new technology.
Minimum Qualifications
6 months experience working in a fresh production department or supervising a team.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time if hired.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supervising a team.
Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
