Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager (depending on experience)
$100k-$130k + 50-100% Bonus potential (yes - you read that correctly)
Candidate will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, tracking, depreciation, maintenance, transfers, and disposals. Perform physical inventory checks and update records for additions, retirements, and disposals.
Administer and enhance the fixed asset management platform (e.g., Microsoft Business Central), ensuring data integrity, implementing controls, and conducting periodic reconciliations between subledgers and the general ledger.
Lead initiatives to improve processes and automate workflows related to property, plant, equipment, leases, intangible assets, and reporting cycles.
Maintain accurate and timely accounting for intangible assets and oversee compliance with internal policies, GAAP, and regulatory requirements.
Provide expertise in ASC 842 lease accounting and manage the organization’s lease portfolio.
Strengthen accounting systems, workflows, and internal controls to support operational efficiency.
Partner with FP&A, operations, and other teams to ensure alignment across functions.
Support integration activities for acquisitions and deliver ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed.
Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Perform additional accounting-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred.
At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory roles.
Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
Ability to interpret complex data and present actionable insights.
Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven track record of meeting deadlines and leading teams effectively.
Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.
