Associate Product Line Manager Location: Nashua, NH

Position: Associate Product Line Manager within the Amphenol High Speed Products Group. This role focuses on the development, marketing, and production of high‑speed IO cable products for the Telecom/Datacom market.

Responsibilities

P&L responsibility for all HSIO Cable Product Family products across all IO Cable Form Factors (OSFP, QSFP-DD, QSFP, etc.) in the assigned territory.

Drive and collaborate with our other HSIO Cable Product Managers on:

NPI activities

Tooling strategies

Supplier strategies

Product qualifications

Production ramping plans

Life cycle management/rationalization, PCNs

Cost, pricing, and margins

Capacity planning

Schedule management

Lead NPI and mass production strategies, including site locations, CAPEX, assembly/component yield management, automation strategies, and capacity planning.

Develop cost models to set material and variable cost targets, and drive pricing strategies.

Drive new business opportunity funnel, aligning sales and business development on actions and strategies to win.

Define customer and market requirements for product families, including timing and forecasts.

Work with cross‑functional teams (marketing, engineering, business development, operations) to identify product and solution gaps and define market requirements to close the total available market.

Develop marketing materials and promote them to industry prospects.

Train internal sales teams on positioning, benefits, target customers, and applications.

Collaborate with Amphenol Spectra Strip on bulk wire development and go‑to‑market activities.

Own site KPIs for sales revenue, product margin improvement, cost reduction, design win, and response time to quote.

Travel as required for customer visits, sales training, factory visits, and trade shows.

Qualifications

BS degree in an engineering discipline; MBA preferred.

Strong financial, leadership, and business management skills beyond engineering technical skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication, and networking skills.

Ability to work across multiple levels of the organization and with all functional groups.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Travel required up to 25% of the time.
