Regional Commercial Analyst Responsibilities

The Regional Commercial Analyst provides key support for the regional marketing and sales teams through reporting of sales and profitability, product quotations and detailed customer analysis. It will also provide support to the broader regional management team and Global Account Management teams. This role is responsible for coordinating all system and list price updates and performing analysis of product pricing and margins across our market and customer base. He/she participates in pricing support to determine where pricing opportunities exist and insures adequate planning to execute the opportunities. Lead the monthly/quarterly pricing update process across all product lines, including resin updates, general price increases, and customer contract stipulated updates. Partner with and provide support to Commercial Finance team to ensure customer quotations are completed accurately and all product sales activities and costs are properly reported and analyzed. Coordinate the periodic updating process of regional price lists (e.g., price adjustments, new products, upcharges). Coordinate execution of the repository system for pricing opportunities to gather, store, and analyze pricing information. Partner with NA Finance and Sales/Marketing to ensure ad hoc requests are completed timely, pricing options are understood and substantiated, and pricing opportunities are executed timely. Track results/impact of pricing activities and coordinate meetings with Marketing and Sales as needed to maintain effective communication. Provide pricing analysis for Sales price assumptions used for Budget/Forecasting. Oversee Interco Pricing process and provide analysis of tariff impacts to region. Coordinate pricing decisions and ensure timely execution (input into ERP systems and sales communication) when Marketing and Sales management finalize price changes. All other duties as assigned. Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance Professional certification preferred Experience and Skills: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Finance or Accounting position Cost accounting experience is beneficial Ability to prepare analytical analysis to facilitate decision making and quotation process Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the Organization to develop solutions that meet criteria Detail-oriented, quality conscious, and a self-starter with organizational skills Ability to work within a multi-site environment Fluent in English Prompt, reliable attendance is required Systems

SAP or other large ERP system experience preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Travel
