Ventus Solutions is seeking a skilled Undersea Weapons Operational Test & Evaluation Lead to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will provide Test and Evaluation (T&E) support to a DoD program office. This role supports the full lifecycle of undersea weapon systems, from test planning and execution through data analysis and reporting; ensuring system readiness, performance, and alignment with Fleet operational needs. The position requires an experienced, proactive professional who can operate with autonomy, identify emerging requirements, and lead execution across technical and operational domains. Work Location: Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC with potential for hybrid work

Travel:

Required Experience:

12+ years of relevant T&E, Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) operations, or systems integration experience.

Former Submarine or Surface Warfare Officer with operational ASW or weapons employment background.

Proven ability to plan and lead T&E activities for Navy weapon or combat systems.

Established expertise to translate operational needs into quantifiable test parameters.

Strong analytical and reporting skills

Self-starter with ability to identify work, prioritize tasks, and execute independently in a dynamic environment.

Bachelor’s degree

Active Secret Clerance.

Desired Experience:

Top Secret/SCI clearance

Master’s degree

Direct experience with MK 48 / MK 54 torpedo systems or related undersea weapons.

Prior experience directly supporting NAVSEA, NUWC, or PEO UWS test and evaluation activities,

Formal experience or training in Test & Evaluation or DAWIA Test & Evaluation certification.
