Executive Vice President at C3 Entertainment, Inc. and Valorous Media, Inc. We are currently looking for a Mid-Level Accountant to join our growing team on site in Burbank, CA! Primary responsibilities include managing the general ledger, analyzing accounts and creating financial reports.
Responsibilities:
Administer and work with the Company’s online QuickBooks system.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual general ledger account reconciliations for all types of accruals, prepaid accounts, participations, and fixed assets schedules to ensure accurate reporting and general ledger maintenance.
Prepare monthly journal entries to recognize SGA expenses.
Perform monthly financial close and related reporting activities.
Apply accounting controls to ensure financial systems are operating as designed.
Implement any new chart of accounts and GL restructure.
Prepare financial statements for monthly, quarterly and annual reporting.
Analyze & provide guidance to senior management related to balance sheet, Income Statement & cash flow results.
Prepare and monitor quarterly participant payments and statements with outside contractors.
Manage Bank and Credit Card Accounts, including monthly reconciliation, bank filings, wires, transfers, owner distributions and contributions.
Administer company insurance requirements, including general liability, workers comp and company health plan for employees.
Administer Company Retirement Plan.
Process payroll on a biweekly basis.
Assist tax accountant with tax filings.
Support leadership team, company initiatives and objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree in accounting/Finance is required.
Be a role model for Integrity, Courage and Conviction.
Able to adapt to changing business needs, introduce new ways of thinking and behaving, and apply new ideas.
3-5 years of corporate and GL accounting experience is required.
US GAAP knowledge is required, CPA preferred.
Demonstrated detail orientation and highly organized work habits.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with minimal supervision.
Ability to focus and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Cooperative and willing to work with and assist others in a team environment.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
Practical /pragmatic approach to problem solving & timely solution execution.
Manage conflicting priorities within tight deadlines.
Strong collaboration skills to get things done without close supervision.
Excellent networking skills to build internal and external networks.
Banking and lending experience desirable.
Highly proficient in accounting software systems and computer software technology, including QuickBooks.
Proficiency in use of Intuit Online QuickBooks, Word, Excel and Outlook.
