Overview
Sales Executive - Women’s Health, CA North. This role sells the Myriad Women’s Health portfolio of molecular genetic tests to obstetricians, gynecologists, and other healthcare providers in the assigned territory, and provides education on Myriad science, research, and precision medicine. Tests can guide personalized medical management decisions and improve patient outcomes. Responsibilities
Sell the physician on the value of different molecular diagnostic tests and interpretations Provide in-service training to office staff Coordinate with local phlebotomy providers to streamline specimen acquisition Deliver local talks and arrange peer-to-peer programs to educate groups Coordinate with local health plans relevant to these practices Meet expense budgets and administrative requirements Utilize Territory Planning Tools for strategy and planning, including target accounts and call frequency Update Salesforce (CRM) to track targeting, messaging, and strategic/tactical information Attend regional meetings and Women’s Health conferences as planned Qualifications
BS/BA degree preferred, ideally in a related field 3-5 years of healthcare sales experience preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Documented sales success and track record of performance Ability to manage increasing responsibilities and sustain growth In-depth product knowledge and knowledge of disease states in current field Ability to travel and overnight as needed Consultative sales approach with strong selling and presentation skills Problem-solving skills with obstacle overcoming Knowledge of coverage and reimbursement issues Working knowledge of HIPAA laws, privacy, and ethics Demonstrates integrity and alignment with company values Ability to handle confidential information discreetly Flexible, innovative, and self-motivated Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CRM (preferably Salesforce) Valid driver’s license and safe driving record Physical Requirements
Lifting: sedentary to light work; occasional lifting 10-20 pounds. Physical requirements include stationary positioning, moving, operating, ascending/descending, communicating, and observing. OSHA Category III; normal routine with no exposure to blood or body fluids. EEO
