highly detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper
to manage accounting operations, payroll, collections, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong analytical ability, and ensure accuracy in every aspect of financial management.
Responsibilities
Manage
weekly payroll
for employees, including live checks and direct deposits, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
Oversee
all aspects of bookkeeping
including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll,
collections , and
bank reconciliations .
Prepare and maintain
accrual-based accounting entries
to ensure accurate financial statements.
Handle
client billing, invoicing, and collections , following up on outstanding balances and reconciling client accounts.
Process and submit
W-2s, 1099s , and assist with
year-end tax filings .
Collaborate with the company’s
CPA firm
to support audits, tax filings, and compliance reviews.
Maintain detailed and organized financial records for
vendors, clients, and employees .
Support management with
financial reports, budgeting, and variance analysis .
Implement and monitor
internal accounting controls
to safeguard company assets.
Ensure compliance with company policies, local/state/federal regulations, and GAAP standards.
Qualifications
5+ years
of bookkeeping or accounting experience (preferably within the
staffing, payroll, or professional services
industries).
Strong proficiency in
QuickBooks Enterprise
and
Microsoft Excel ..
Excellent organization, attention to detail, and accuracy under deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality at all times.
