Director of Supply Chain/Fulfillment

to oversee the full lifecycle of material and component flow, from supplier sourcing and purchasing through warehouse management, inventory control, and final panel assembly. This leader ensures supply chain and production operations are integrated, cost-efficient, and capable of delivering high-quality assemblies to field and project teams on time and at target cost. You will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution by building out systems and processes that enhance material visibility, optimize budget, and streamline operations across procurement, warehouse, and assembly functions. This role bridges strategic sourcing and operational execution, ensuring materials flow efficiently from supplier to assembly floor to field installation to meet aggressive delivery targets while reducing cost and improving quality. Key Responsibilities

Lead all purchasing and supplier management activities across direct and indirect materials. Develop and execute category strategies that reduce total cost of ownership while mitigating supply risk. Negotiate supplier contracts, SLAs, and rebate programs; drive annual cost-savings goals. Build and manage supplier scorecards, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives. Oversee warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, kitting, and shipping. Maintain optimal inventory accuracy and control through cycle counting, ABC analysis, and real-time data integrity. Optimize warehouse layout, material handling, and equipment utilization for efficiency and scalability. Collaborate with Finance on inventory valuation, E&O reserves, and working capital targets. Lead the panel assembly shop, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production aligned with engineering standards and project schedules. Develop standardized work processes, throughput metrics, and continuous improvement plans. Partner with Engineering and Project Management to ensure designs are manufacturable, compliant, and cost-efficient. Implement Lean and 5S practices to drive efficiency, minimize rework, and improve lead times. Translate master production and project schedules into actionable material and assembly plans. Partner with Engineering on design-for-manufacture standards, and with Service and Field teams to ensure parts availability for field installation. Collaborate with Finance and Operations leadership to manage budgets, optimize cash flow, and align supply planning with company growth objectives. Qualifications

10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or manufacturing leadership Proven success in procurement, inventory control, and shop floor management. Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and data-driven performance management (KPI dashboards). Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business (MBA or CSCP/CPIM preferred).
