The Consumer Insights Manager is responsible for overseeing the consumer insights and market research function for MJUS. This role is essential in growing the brand and helping the organization make informed decisions related to brand strategy, innovation, and commercial execution. The Consumer Insights Manager has a deep understanding of consumer behavior and will be able to translate data into actionable insights. This person must be highly motivated, infinitely curious and strategic as well as detail oriented. This person reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer and their efforts will directly drive business decisions. Principal Duties And Responsibilities

Market and Consumer Research: Conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative research to understand consumer preferences, trends, and competitive landscapes. Market and Consumer Research: Design and execute consumer surveys from end-to-end to gather feedback and insights on products, promotion, and brand perception. Market and Consumer Research: Develop detailed profiles of target consumers, including their needs, preferences, and pain points. Market and Consumer Research: Moderate focus groups, in-depth interviews, and analyze qualitative outputs. Market and Consumer Research: Present findings and insights to senior management and other internal stakeholders through reports, presentations, and visualizations. Market and Consumer Research: Understand the role of AI in market research as a tool, leveraging it where necessary. Data Analysis: Analyze data collected from various sources, such as surveys, social media, and sales reports, to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Data Analysis: Monitor and assess the strategies and performance of competitors to identify strengths, weaknesses, and potential threats. Data Analysis: Anticipate future market trends and consumer behaviors to help the company stay ahead of the curve. Data Analysis: Leverage data analytics tools, CRM systems, and other technology to streamline data collection and analysis processes. Brand Monitoring: Track brand mentions and sentiment across different online and offline channels to gauge brand health and reputation. Brand Monitoring: Manage brand health, brand lift, and equity trackers across platforms and synthesize them into cohesive narratives. Brand Monitoring: Identify and segment target consumer groups based on demographics, psychographics, and behavioral characteristics. Brand Monitoring: Measure and monitor customer satisfaction and loyalty through surveys and feedback mechanisms. Brand Monitoring: Provide insights and recommendations to guide product development and innovation, ensuring that products align with consumer demands. Marketing Strategy: Collaborate with marketing teams to develop effective marketing strategies and campaigns based on consumer insights. Marketing Strategy: Ensure that data collection and analysis adhere to legal and ethical standards, especially concerning consumer privacy. Marketing Strategy: Own end to end creation of insights presentations from storyline to final edits, including Board level materials. Marketing Strategy: Manage the budget allocated for research and insights activities efficiently. Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience in market analysis, data insights & analytics Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus). Confidence with a variety of research methodologies, including a/b testing, MaxDiff, monadic, TURF Analysis, etc. Familiarity with market research vendors such as Kantar, Nielsen, Suzy, etc. Intellectual curiosity and a desire to find the “now what, so what” Proven experience in market research, data analytics, trend following and pulling unique data sets from multiple sources to tell a compelling story. Excellent written and verbal communication and data story-telling skills, including the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations to diverse stakeholders. Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and social media management platforms. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong leadership and influencing abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Experience on the supplier side and brand side of research/insights preferred Consumer goods industry experience preferred Benefits
