Who we are: The Consumer Strategy and Insights team at WeightWatchers is the central hub for understanding the company's members and prospective members. The team's primary role is to develop and implement
consumer-centric strategies
that drive business growth and innovation, combining
qualitative and quantitative research
to uncover deep insights into consumer behavior, motivations, and needs. The team works cross-functionally with product, marketing, and experience teams to ensure that the voice of the consumer is represented in key decisions, ensuring WeightWatchers' products and services are highly relevant and effective for current and future members. What you will do: The
Manager, Consumer Strategy and Insights
will be a key contributor to strategic decision-making. You'll provide deep insights into consumer behavior, market and product trends, and the competitive landscape. This role is vital for developing and executing consumer and marketing insights strategies, aligning with business objectives. You'll partner with leaders across the organization to provide data-driven recommendations that drive impactful change. Key Responsibilities
Consumer research:
Conduct surveys, focus groups, and one-on-one interviews to understand the competitive landscape and identify emerging trends. Data analysis and synthesis:
Utilize data from app usage, member feedback, and sales data to create a holistic view of the member journey and experience. Strategic planning:
Translate insights into actionable recommendations and long-term strategic plans, building cohesive business cases that put the customer at the heart of decision-making. Insights and analysis:
Support qualitative and quantitative studies to uncover consumer insights; conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and inform strategy. Collaboration and influence:
Work with cross-functional teams to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations; champion the voice of the consumer. Communication:
Create compelling presentations and reports that effectively communicate insights to diverse audiences. Who you are
5-7+ years of experience in consumer insights, strategy consulting, market research, or a related analytical role , preferably in consumer-facing industries. Proven experience designing and executing qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, including segmentation, MaxDiff, conjoint. Robust experience with survey design, programming, testing and analysis. Track record translating complex data into clear, actionable strategies with measurable impact. Solid understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscapes. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders. A passion for health, wellness, and empowering individuals is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Psychology, Sociology, or related field. Base salary may vary depending on skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and annual bonus program.
