Computer Numerical Control Programmer/ Machinist – Round-Peg Solutions (RPS) Be among the first 25 applicants This role offers a base pay range of $65,000.00/yr - $82,000.00/yr. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Machine and fabricate prototype aerospace components, tools, and fixtures from rough design sketches to finished parts. Program, edit, and operate CNC Milling, Turning, and Mill-Turn equipment (including 5-axis). Apply expert GD&T knowledge to produce precision tools, molds, and components meeting exact geometric tolerances. Perform manual milling, turning, and grinding to refine parts and ensure optimal fit and finish. Develop, test, and iterate plastic injection mold tooling and short-run production parts. Collaborate with design and manufacturing engineers to provide Design for Manufacturability (DFM) feedback. Apply creative problem-solving and on-the-fly machining adjustments to achieve desired outcomes in a fast-paced R&D environment. Assist with machine selection, setup, commissioning, and maintenance as new capabilities are introduced. Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in high-precision or aerospace machining. Strong background in 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC programming and editing. Proficiency with CAM software (Mastercam, HyperMill, Esprit) and 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia). In-depth understanding of G-code, M-code, and CNC controls. Expertise in GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and tolerance stack-ups. Hands-on experience using CMMs, micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, and height/depth gauges. Preferred Qualifications
Experience machining injection mold tooling, including wire and die-sinking EDM. Strong knowledge of aerospace materials and surface finishes. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving prototyping and development environment. Apply Today
