Work with the operations team to counsel on policies, procedures and regulatory compliance Keep management informed of HR developments affecting overall effectiveness Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding Assist supervisors with performance management and disciplinary actions for hourly employees Maintain personnel files and training materials, ensuring documents are current, accurate, confidential and compliant with company policies and government regulations What you need to succeed
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience 2 years of HR experience including compensation, HRIS administration, benefits administration, payroll and employee relations Experience with HRIS and time/attendance systems Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) Ability to travel up to 25% in the Hillsboro, OR area to four locations and one location in Aloha, OR Nice to have
Professional HR certification Bilingual English/Spanish Strong verbal and written communication skills About GXO
