Vice President @ Core Executive Recruiting – Join a dynamic Class A commercial real estate team managing a diverse portfolio of office properties. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Property Accountant with a strong foundation in commercial real estate accounting and a sharp eye for lease intricacies beyond straight-line rent. This hybrid role offers four days in-office and one day remote, providing both collaboration and flexibility. Base pay range
$90,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr Additional compensation

Manage full-cycle property accounting for a portfolio of office assets, including monthly financial reporting, CAM reconciliations, and variance analysis. Interpret and apply complex lease terms (e.g., rent escalations, abatements, expense caps, and recovery structures) to ensure accurate revenue recognition. Collaborate with property managers and asset teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and operational decision-making. Maintain general ledger integrity and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies. Qualifications
Proficiency in accounting for complex office leases, including non-standard rent structures and recovery mechanisms. Strong understanding of GAAP and real estate accounting principles, especially as applied to commercial portfolios. Experience with property management systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) and intermediate Excel skills. Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across finance, operations, and leasing teams. Preferred background
3+ years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting, ideally with office assets. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Exposure to lease abstraction and interpreting legal lease documents for accounting impact. Familiarity with CAM, tax, insurance reconciliations and tenant billing processes. Seniority level
