Job Title: Senior Manual Tester Healthcare Domain Location: Austin/Dallas/Bloomfield Duration: Long Term Responsibilities

Develop, review, and execute manual test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications. Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate healthcare applications and workflows including claims processing, member enrollment, provider data management, and authorization modules. Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to ensure accurate requirement understanding and test coverage. Identify, document, and track defects and issues using tools like JIRA, ALM, or Azure DevOps. Verify data integrity and accuracy across systems using SQL queries and backend validation. Ensure testing aligns with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data privacy standards. Participate in requirement walkthroughs, sprint planning, and daily stand-up meetings within Agile/Scrum methodology. Prepare and present test summary reports, defect metrics, and traceability matrices to stakeholders. Mentor junior QA team members and contribute to QA process improvement initiatives. Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in Manual Testing, with at least 5+ years in the Healthcare domain. Strong understanding of healthcare systems, including: Claims (837/835) Eligibility & Enrollment (270/271) Authorizations (278) Provider Management Solid experience in preparing and executing test plans, test cases, and defect reports. Hands-on experience with JIRA, HP ALM, or TestRail. Ability to write SQL queries for backend validation and data comparison. Working knowledge of EHR/EMR systems or healthcare payer platforms (e.g., Facets, QNXT, Epic). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments. Preferred Skills

Exposure to API testing using Postman or similar tools. Basic understanding of Automation Testing concepts (e.g., Selenium) is a plus. Familiarity with HIPAA, CMS, and FHIR standards. Experience in testing data migrations, reports, and dashboards. Prior experience in Medicare/Medicaid or payer-provider workflows.
