About the Opportunity Join an established organization in the Phoenix area positioned for continued growth and seeking a strategic Controller to lead financial operations and partner with executive leadership.

The Role The Controller will direct all accounting operations and financial reporting while serving as a trusted financial advisor. This position demands leadership abilities, strategic thinking, and deep technical expertise in a hands‑on environment.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting.

Direct month‑end and year‑end close processes with timely financial statement preparation.

Establish and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and safeguard assets.

Lead annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors.

Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.

Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations to executive team.

Implement process improvements and accounting system enhancements.

Lead and develop accounting team members.

Qualifications

7+ years of progressive accounting experience with 3+ years in controller or senior leadership role.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.

CPA certification strongly preferred.Expert knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.

Strong ERP system experience (NetSuite, SAP, Sage, or similar).

Proven leadership and team management abilities.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Strategic thinker with hands‑on execution capabilities.
