Senior Accountant
for their team in Plano, TX. This position is critical to ensuring the timely and accurate financial close and reporting of the company’s corporate and consolidated results. The role offers a
hybrid work arrangement
following training, with the flexibility to work from home one day per week.
Compensation
ranges from
90K-95K , depending on experience, and includes a

Lead and coordinate month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, including general ledger account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and necessary adjustments. Conduct monthly flux analysis, account reconciliations, and ad-hoc transactional research. Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors during financial audits to ensure compliance and provide necessary documentation. Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and system enhancements to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency. Actively participate in system implementations or upgrades related to financial systems, providing subject matter expertise and user support. Collaborate cross-functionally with departments such as finance, operations, and legal to support strategic initiatives and address financial matters. Serve as a subject matter expert, offering insights and recommendations on accounting principles, policies, and best practices. Work collaboratively with senior leadership on ad hoc projects. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting (Required). 3-5 years of corporate accounting or public accounting experience. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting standards.
