LHH is working with a large service company in the Argyle area that is seeking a new Senior Accountant for their team. This full-time role involves handling accounting transactions and processes to support daily operations while ensuring compliance with relevant Accounting Frameworks and internal policies. The Senior Accountant will be integral to the financial close process and will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial statements. This is a Hybrid Position (3 days in office and 2 days remote) and pays 90K-95K+Bonus. Responsibilities
Provide timely and accurate financial information to management. Research and analyze cost centers and accounts to ensure accurate reporting. Enter/track fixed asset additions, disposals, impairments, and calculate related depreciation and amortization. Prepare and post journal entries with appropriate documentation. Assist in the preparation of monthly, semiannual, and year-end reporting packages. Analyze financial statements for mid-year and year-end reporting. Reconcile various balance sheet accounts. Prepare intercompany reconciliations. Support the R&D and Capital Expenditure (Cap Ex) budgeting process. Assist with Ad-Hoc Projects. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting. 4-5 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP), accounting practices, and ERP systems. Hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel. How to apply
