Overview Join our expanding Talent Management & Organizational Development team as we build out this exciting new functional area. Our department has evolved from a traditional focus on leadership development and instructional design to now encompass comprehensive talent management capabilities. As our Talent Development Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in executing strategic initiatives that shape career development and talent practices across our enterprise. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role perfect for a high-achieving professional who thrives on turning strategic visions into reality through detailed project management and stakeholder engagement.

What You'll Do

Strategic Execution & Project Management

Lead and manage high-impact talent initiatives including mentorship programs, enterprise talent reviews, and performance management processes

Partner with the VP and Senior Director to execute the strategic vision for talent management and organizational development

Drive projects from conception to completion with meticulous attention to detail and thorough follow-up

Coordinate cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments and leadership levels

Talent Management & Development

Execute performance management processes, including goal setting, skill-based assessments, and year-end evaluations

Support quarterly talent reviews with leadership teams to assess performance and succession planning

Implement structured mentoring approaches across the enterprise using project management methodology

Analyze talent data and metrics to create meaningful reports and presentations for senior leadership

Stakeholder Engagement & Facilitation

Lead meetings and rally stakeholders around talent initiatives

Influence without authority to drive adoption of talent processes and programs

Collaborate with HR Business Partners, senior leaders, and department heads

Provide guidance on performance management, best practices and development planning

Program Implementation & Optimization

Oversee end-to-end operations for assigned talent development programs

Ensure seamless delivery, process optimization, and measurable outcomes

Navigate talent management platforms and supporting technology

Foster a mentorship culture demonstrating our commitment to career development

Required Experience

7+ years of corporate learning and development experience

5+ years of leadership experience

Graduate or professional work or advanced degree or equivalent experience

Deep understanding of performance review cycles, talent calibrations, and succession planning processes

Experience implementing organizational mentorship programs

Familiarity with career pathing frameworks

Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms

Certification in learning and/or talent development

Work Arrangement Hybrid flexibility with several days on-site initially (especially during onboarding), transitioning to flexible remote schedule once established.
