Position Description As a Civil Engineer you will integrate the process of document production with a more detailed understanding of design and systems components. This position will be exposed to Civil land development and water/wastewater design along with calculations, specifications, and an expanded understating of codes with a continuum advanced practice of three-dimensional AutoCAD and Civil 3D and production of site design. A Civil Engineer of this level will have the ability to take small to medium sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer.
Salary The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
4 to 10 years of project experience
ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) accredited degree in Civil Engineering
A Professional Engineering License in the State of job posting or other states preferred or equivalent experience
Advanced knowledge and skills of AutoCAD Civil 3D, proficient with WaterCAD, Autodesk Storm and Sanitary Analysis, ArcGIS, as well as Bluebeam, Outlook, Microsoft Office. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office Suite
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work with engineering concepts in real world applications
Proficiency in technical writing
The ability to take small to medium sized projects from conception to final design with little input from a senior engineer
Preferred Qualifications
Retail program experience preferred
Position Responsibilities
Prepare project plans and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office
Collaborate with other disciplines to produce preliminary concepts and drawings
Complete cost estimates and research codes and/or jurisdictional requirements
Develop positive external and internal client relationships and participate in meetings with either internal or external clients to determine project goals
Prepare calculations, technical memorandums and reports
Construction administration including, but not limited to, onsite field observation
Be called upon to support our design teams in partnership with talented Architects, Engineers and Business Professionals remotely and across our office locations
