Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology at UCHealth. This role is a full-time position in the general cardiology team. The pay range is $115,000.00/yr - $150,765.00/yr. Join the general cardiology team at UCHealth as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner and provide patient-focused cardiology care. Collaborate with physicians and other care providers to deliver high-quality care. Contribute to a work-life balanced, full-time role within the group. Qualifications

For Physician Assistants Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by the NCCPA Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications commonly prescribed in practice Eligible to provide services with Medicare and Medicaid and maintain provider status Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges Prescriptive authority as appropriate per medical staff privileging Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross For Nurse Practitioners Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility; must apply for prescriptive authority as a condition of employment Master’s degree in Nursing and graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANCC or AANPCB) is required for hire and must be maintained Unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license or compact privileges Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate practice privileges Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications Eligible to provide services with Medicare and Medicaid and maintain provider status Eligible to provide services with no sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Exceptional Benefits
