Be prepared to adapt to the fast pace and evolving needs of a busy orthopedic inpatient trauma team. Utilize Surgical First Assist expertise to support optimal patient outcomes. Nurse Practitioners must hold a current RNFA certification. Balance with a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule and no on-call responsibilities. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care in a dynamic trauma setting. Epic EMR used system-wide. Access a generous CME package to support ongoing professional development in orthopedic trauma care. Requirements For Physician Assistants
Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant in the State of Colorado. Physician Assistant Certification (PA-C) issued by NCCPA is required for hire and must be maintained. Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications. Eligible to provide payable services and maintain Medicare/Medicaid provider status. No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA lists. Unrestricted medical staff membership with appropriate privileges. Prescriptive authority as appropriate per privileging process. BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). Requirements For Nurse Practitioner
Full or provisional prescriptive authority eligibility; must apply for prescriptive authority as a condition of employment. Master’s degree in Nursing and graduation from an accredited NP program. NP Certification from ANCC or AANPCB is required for hire and maintained. Unrestricted NP license in the state of practice or compact privileges. Unrestricted medical staff membership with privileges. Unrestricted DEA permit to prescribe medications. Eligible to provide reimbursable services with Medicare/Medicaid provider status. No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA lists. BLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross). Exceptional Benefits
The pay range is $103,716 - $139,589 annually. Productivity incentives may be offered. Relocation bonus up to $10,000, if eligible. Paid malpractice insurance.
