What does a Housing Services Manager do? The Housing Services Manager is a crucial role dedicated to overseeing all housing programs within Kitsap County. This includes managing the emergency youth shelter and a voucher-based transitional living facility to foster independence and stability. You will lead staff and volunteers to deliver compassionate, safe, and effective services, creating a supportive environment that promotes healing and empowerment for youth and families facing housing challenges.
What You Need To Be Successful To excel, candidates should align with The Coffee Oasis beliefs, values, and mission. A minimum age of 25 and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent are essential. Required qualifications and experience include:
At least two years of experience working with adolescents.
Completed training in HIV/AIDS and blood-borne pathogens, first aid and CPR.
A recent tuberculin test.
A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle with current automobile insurance.
Proficiency with Internet software, spreadsheet applications, and word processing tools; strong internet research skills.
Knowledge and Skills Knowledge and skills required for the position include:
Experience working with adolescents.
