Responsible for directing and administering the operational efforts of the branch. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Oversees provision of a full range of services to customers and prospective customers. Trains, directs, and supervises branch staff. Ensures quotas of branch transactions, loan volumes, expenses, and profitability are in line with Bank standards. Responsible for receiving, reviewing, and evaluating commercial loan requests. Meets with applicants to explain credit policies and to obtain loan information and documentation. Monitors and reviews construction and development loans. Maintains repossessed properties and assists in collections' activities. Serves borrowers and prospective borrowers promptly and professionally. Provides general Bank information and cross sells services. Assumes responsibility for the effective and efficient performance of branch operations. Supervises work scheduling and workflow of daily routine operations. Ensures branch security. Opens and closes the building in accordance with set hours and tests security equipment quarterly. Ensures that operations are conducted in accordance with established Bank policies and with legal and regulatory requirements. Supervises and assists with customer service functions. Assists in New Accounts and on Teller line as needed. Cross-sells Bank services. Implements changes to established policies and procedures within the branch. Maintains proper cash controls and ensures that all branch transactions are balanced at the close of each day. Oversees cash handling and assists Tellers in resolving balancing problems. Controls and handles daily deposits in accordance with policies. Periodically verifies cash in possession of Tellers and the premises. Provides leadership through objective setting and communication. Directly supervises all branch personnel. Ensures high quality work and efficiency in operations. Conducts sales coaching with all branch personnel according to Prosperity Sales philosophy. Determines work methods and flow, assigns, directs, coordinates, and reviews tasks. Conducts regular meetings with branch associates to inform and train. Discusses areas needing improvement and changes in procedure. Conducts weekly meetings with branch management staff to coordinate activities. Ensures personnel are well trained in all relevant duties. Completes orientation of new associates and conducts cross training as necessary. Conducts security and Sales Training. Ensures effective workflow and staffing levels. Tracks progress and conducts performance appraisals. Formulates corrective actions and recommends promotions. Provides leadership development opportunities for associates seeking management roles. Approves sick leave, vacation, overtime, and timesheets; maintains payroll and attendance records. Establishes and maintains effective, professional business relations with customers. Promptly resolves customer requests and questions. Handles complaints. Informs customers of Bank services and policies. Counsels customers regarding financial needs and services requested. Maintains the Bank's quality reputation and pursues new business through sales calls. Coordinates and administers branch functions with accounting, loan processing, and credit. Manages expenses and pursues cost-saving measures. Continuously seeks ways to improve branch operations and productivity, and prepares periodic branch activity reports with recommendations for management. Ensures maintenance and housekeeping of the building and equipment; ensures supplies are available. Institutes prudent safety measures and keeps management informed of progress and problems. Attends trainings as required. Assumes responsibility for the effective administration of branch functions and related duties as assigned. Fills in and performs duties in branch positions as needed. Oversees commercial loan processes, including interviewing, applications, credit discussions, loan documentation, and submissions. Analyzes and evaluates loan requests; coordinates with the Commercial Loan Committee. Oversees construction loan advances, property inspections, and follows up on maturities. Assists in delinquency collection and loan function completion in line with Bank policies and legal requirements. Maintains coordination with related departments and branches and provides support as needed. Qualifications
Education/Certification: Associate degree in business or related field, or equivalent training and work experience. Required Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of Bank services and products; understanding of related legal and regulatory requirements; familiarity with Branch functions, policies, and procedures. Experience Required: At least five years in a financial institution with a minimum of two years supervisory experience; at least five years lending experience. Commercial Lending experience required; Real estate and origination background preferred. Skills/Abilities: Strong interpersonal, leadership, and supervisory skills; well organized; ability to operate related computer applications and equipment; attention to detail; ability to maintain an efficient workflow. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm and as needed. 40 hours. Employment type
