$115,000.00/yr - $125,000.00/yr Job Purpose & Responsibilities

Assist in cash reporting, bank transaction approvals, monthly cash reconciliations, and other treasury management as needed. Handle internal processes involving reconciliation, general ledger and month-end closings with a focus on cost of goods sold functions. Prepare routine journal entries and post financial transactions. Review and reconcile inventory and inventory transactions; report on inventory scrap transactions monthly. Review leases and update IFRS 16 software monthly. Review monthly absorption and material usage variances to evaluate general ledger balances. Prepare and analyze financial reports (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) and perform monthly reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data. Assist in the budgeting process by providing financial data and analysis. Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement. Assist in the financial management of the organization by monitoring expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Demonstrate strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles. Assist in preparation of financial forecasts and projections. Assist with audits such as fiscal year-end auditing. Collect and analyze data about company’s operational costs. Assist the Canadian operation with their financial functions, including receivables, journal entries, general ledger reconciliation and accounts payable. Perform other duties as assigned. Professional Experience / Education / Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity Demonstrated Excel skills Experience working in JD Edwards (or similar Enterprise software system) Sage Accounting Software (used for Canada) Core Competencies
