Position Summary The HR Generalist plays a key role in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee relations. This role ensures accurate HR records and benefits administration, provides day-to-day support to employees, and helps maintain compliance with company policies and employment laws. The HR Generalist also partners with managers and teams to drive training, development, and engagement initiatives while contributing to HR reporting and ongoing projects.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Onboarding – Coordinate with offshore resources and hiring managers throughout the hiring process, including preliminary interviews, and lead new-hire onboarding by preparing materials and facilitating sessions.

HR Records & Systems – Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS, and support testing and implementation of new system functionality.

Employee Support – Address employee questions on HR policies and procedures, providing guidance or directing them to the appropriate resources.

Benefits Administration – Co-manage employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and communication with staff.

HR Documentation – Under the direction of Management, prepare and process HR documents (contracts, promotions, terminations), and draft and update job descriptions and organizational charts.

Performance Management & Reporting – Coordinate annual performance review cycles, including distributing and collecting reviews and supporting the annual pay increase review. Prepare regular HR reports and metrics for management review to support ongoing performance management processes.

Employee Relations & Attendance – Assist investigations into employee relations issues, escalate when necessary, and assist in tracking and managing employee attendance and leave requests.

Compliance & Collaboration – Implement and ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws, collaborate with other departments on HR-related needs and initiatives, and participate in HR team meetings and projects.

Training & Development – Coordinate training and development initiatives, including scheduling sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting employee growth.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent work experience.

3–4 years of recent HR experience, ideally in a generalist capacity.

Solid understanding of HR policies, procedures, and basic employment laws and regulations.

Proficiency with HR software and systems (e.g., BambooHR).

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Adaptability and willingness to learn new HR practices and technologies.

Preferred

Professional certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or equivalent) is a plus.
