Base pay range
$95,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr
Company Overview A leading investment management firm is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join their team. The role involves managing daily operations and providing support across various financial products and systems.
Job Responsibilities
Reconcile firm’s positions daily across various custodians/PBs/FCMs and internal systems
Calculate the firm’s daily exposure across product types and respond to margin calls
Assist in processing wires and support journal entries to Accounting
Review and setup new wire instructions in internal/external wire platforms
Assist with trade booking, clearing, and settlement of securities
Provide operations support for the entire lifecycle of all traded products
Perform trade operations approval into the firm's accounting and clearing systems
Manage the trade settlement process and liaise with custodian and counterparties
Perform daily trade reconciliations with custodian
Produce daily and monthly reporting for Treasury Team, accounting, and senior management
Work with accounting to investigate and clear breaks and provide ad-hoc reporting
Assist in the onboarding and setup of new Order Management System, Accounting platform, and Reconciliation tool
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required; accounting or finance degree preferred
1-2 years of investment operations, accounting, or middle/back office experience in the investment management industry
Product knowledge and expertise in Mortgage-Backed Securities, Treasuries, and Derivatives
General knowledge of Treasury/Operations functions within investment firms
Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
Knowledge of financial accounting is helpful
Programming skills (Python, SQL) are useful but not required
Compensation Salary: $95,000 – $105,000, Plus Bonus
