This position takes orders and manages all aspects of the food production of IRD orders. Prepares room service trays in accordance with guest orders and ensures the set-up and delivery of meals and beverages is consistent with Brand and departmental standards. Provides timely, friendly, enthusiastic and professional service; performs table and tray removal; completes all side work. Manages all aspects of food production for banquets, including food preparation per description. Adheres to sanitation practices and maintains cleanliness and orderliness of table linen, dishes, silverware, etc. Pre-sets tables/trays for morning and evening rushes; pre-stocks work station; sets up room service trays and tables per order; stocks refrigerators with necessary supplies. Inspects orders to ensure proper setup and that standards are met before orders leave the room service station. Communicates and collaborates with kitchen staff and the Room Service Cashier Supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction. Ensures timed orders and other orders are delivered according to time specifications; provides tray retrieval service as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Other

Regular attendance is essential. Employees may be required to work varying schedules and attend scheduled training sessions and meetings. Compliance with hotel rules and regulations is required. Specific Job Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

Ability to speak and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace; good communication skills. Basic computational ability and the ability to use math to figure costs and make change. Ability to read recipes and follow instructions; ability to operate necessary equipment with proper dexterity. Ability to handle the public with tact and courtesy; work with limited supervision; perform routine, organized tasks. Ability to recognize and correct insufficiencies on stations and train for corrections. Physical Demands

This role is indoors with temperature variations; must be able to work in extreme temperatures (freezers and kitchens). Walk and stand for extended periods; reach, bend, lift up to 15 lbs regularly. Consistent communication with guests, supervisors and subordinates; visual and manual dexterity required. Qualification Standards

Must be minimum age to serve alcohol; High school or equivalent education required. Experience and Licenses

Previous Food & Beverage Serving Experience and Hospitality Experience preferred. Current Food Handler\'s Card; Current TIPS Certification. Grooming and Attendance

Maintain neat, clean, well-groomed appearance per hotel standards. Regular attendance; irregular attendance may lead to disciplinary action up to termination. Job Details
