Job Description Salary: $18-21 DOE We are expanding our in-house baking program and adding an additional baker to our staff. We are looking for an experienced and passionate Baker to join our team. As an Artisan Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a wide variety of baked goods, ensuring high quality and consistency in every product. Your love for baking, creativity, and ability to follow recipes will be key to delivering fresh, delicious baked goods to our community.

Responsibilities Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, and other baked goods according to recipes and standards. Ensure all products meet high-quality standards in taste, presentation, and consistency. Follow health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment. Manage ingredient inventory and relay orders to the Purchasing Agent when supplies are needed. Monitor baking processes and adjust equipment settings for temperature and timing. Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and seasonal baked items. Package, label, and display baked goods for sale in the cafe. Maintain professional communication with the staff, management, and residents.

Skills & Qualifications

Experience in a bakery is required.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy bags of flour and other ingredients (up to 50 lbs).

Dexterity for operating knives, ovens, and other kitchen equipment.

Excellent customer service skills and a positive attitude.

Strong attention to detail and creativity in presentation.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Passion for baking and creating high-quality products.

Job Details Full-time position 5 days per week, days may vary depending on business needs and other staff days off $18 - $21 per hour DOE
