IT Manager / Director of IT Job Summary We are seeking an experienced
Systems Administrator
to manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring system stability, security, and efficiency. This role involves maintaining
servers, networks, and cloud environments , troubleshooting system issues, and implementing best practices for IT security and performance. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple technical projects while providing exceptional support to end-users. Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure
, including servers, networks, storage, and cloud services.
Administer
Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and virtualization environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) . Monitor system
performance, security, and availability , ensuring minimal downtime. Perform
software and hardware upgrades, patches, and security updates . Support
network operations , including firewalls, VPNs, and wireless access points. Implement
backup and disaster recovery solutions
to ensure data integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve
server, network, and application issues
in a timely manner. Develop and maintain
IT documentation , including system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Enforce
IT security policies
and compliance standards, including access controls and data protection measures. Assist with
IT projects , such as system migrations, infrastructure expansions, and cloud integrations. Provide
technical support and training
to end-users as needed. Qualifications & Requirements
3-5 years of experience
in system administration, network management, or a related IT role.
Strong knowledge of
Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration . Experience with
virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.) . Familiarity with
networking concepts , including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and firewalls. Understanding of
IT security best practices , including patch management, access controls, and data protection. Experience with
backup solutions
and disaster recovery planning. Strong
problem-solving skills
and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent
communication and documentation skills .
Certifications
such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, Microsoft (MCSA, MCSE), or Cisco (CCNA) are a plus.
