HDR is looking for a Project Architect to join our Industrial Architecture Practice in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you'll be responsible for:

Working with a multidiscipline team and performing layout and detailing on architectural projects Managing various project types, including transportation, water, data centers, federal, central energy plants, and industrial projects Mentoring junior staff Coordinating work across disciplines through multiple project phases Leading owner/client meetings and participating in reviews with governing agencies for code compliance Conducting work sessions at project sites with the Project Manager and other disciplines Managing workload and ensuring project documents are completed on schedule Reviewing architectural documents for conflicts with other disciplines Performing QA/QC and technical reviews Writing and editing architectural specifications Assisting with addenda, RFIs, CPRs, and change orders during construction Incorporating changes into project documents Performing other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications

Technical mindset Experience with transportation, water, data centers, federal, central energy plants, and/or industrial projects Interest in resilient design Local candidates preferred Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a closely related field Minimum of 10 years of experience Registered Architect Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Autodesk Revit Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills Experience in preparing architectural contract documents and specifications Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills Active participation in our employee-owned culture Our Values and Commitment
