Pier 101 Restaurant & Bar
Located just 10 miles from Charleston, South Carolina, beach lovers have been partying at the Folly Beach pier since the 1930s. It is our goal with Pier 101 Restaurant & Bar to bring back the carefree, easy-going, beach vibes from the decades of the 1930s through the 1970s. Much of our menu and décor reflect these bygone eras. We hope you enjoy cold drinks, fried seafood, and live music at the Edge of America on Folly Beach!

GENERAL MANAGER, LEAD HOST Position Summary:
A Host creates a positive first impression of the establishment's friendliness, excellent service, and high standards. Responsibilities include greeting guests, informing them of wait times, managing the waiting list, seating guests, and bidding farewell. Additional duties involve refilling beverages, light housekeeping, ensuring restrooms are clean and stocked, answering phones, and filling to-go orders. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Welcome guests warmly. Be attentive to their dining needs. Seat guests and manage seating arrangements. Monitor restaurant activity for smooth flow. Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests. Sell retail items. Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Job Requirements: Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: No experience required Skills: Customer service People skills Professionalism High energy Multitasking Thoroughness Planning Basic math Working Conditions:
The role involves standing near the restaurant entrance, maintaining a neat appearance, and being courteous. Equipment used includes Resy and POS systems. Must support oneself throughout the shift and lift 25+ lbs. Work Environment:
The host station is at the restaurant entrance, requiring continuous standing and maintaining a professional appearance. Salary:
$15/hour plus annual bonuses Benefits:
