The Business Analyst will play a critical role in driving efficiency, innovation, and data-informed decision-making across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to build scalable, cross-functional solutions that support our continued growth. This role reports to the Director of Information Technology. It is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building from the ground up, and driving change through technology. Responsibilities of the Business Analyst position include (but are not limited to): Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation Document business processes, functional requirements, and workflows to enhance organizational knowledge and improve operational efficiency. Assist in customizing and optimizing our ERP system (Acumatica) and related applications Organize and structure data across systems to enable more effective reporting and decision-making Participate in the evaluation, testing, and implementation of new products and technologies Collaborate with departments to gather requirements and document both functional and technical needs Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights for various teams Automate workflows between systems to improve accuracy, reduce manual entry, and streamline operations Contribute to the development of data-driven strategies that align with broader business goals Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and bring forward new ideas that support scalability and long-term growth Maintain a forward-thinking mindset, staying informed on industry trends and emerging technologies
Preferred skills include: Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools, with an understanding of best practices for impactful reporting Exposure to process automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier, etc.) Familiarity with API integrations and system interoperability concepts Experience working with or alongside ERP systems Knowledge of data modeling, query languages (DAX, SQL), or basic scripting is a plus
Candidates must possess: Prior experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role in a business/technical environment Preferred college degree in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to visualize complex workflows and map business processes A self-starter mentality with a passion for improvement and the ability to build structure in a developing role Ability to work as a team player and take initiative to take on and complete tasks
Work Environment : Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and sit Ability to lift 25 pounds without assistance Indoor, non-smoking, temperature-controlled environment Some exposure to outside elements if and when on job sites
