Hospitalist Opening in Brattleboro, VT Full-time Rotating schedule Hours likely: 7:00PM - 7:00AM Salary: $300,000 to $350,000 AnnuallyJ1-Visa candidates Eligible About A Hospitalist Physician is responsible for the general medical care of hospitalized patients. The role includes diagnosing, treating, and coordinating care for patients during their hospital stay, working closely with specialists, nurses, and support staff to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. The candidate should have excellent clinical judgment and diagnostic skills, strong communication and interpersonal skills. The candidate is committed to patient-centered, evidence-based care.Specialty backup includes surgeons to perform central line insertions, respiratory therapists, Emergency Medicine physicians and CRNAs. Brattleboro Memorial Hospital will consider J1-Visa candidates.Requirements Education:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Experience:
  • 2-3 years' experience as a Hospitalist preferred
  • Experience in rural health preferred but not required.
  • Vent management experience required.
  • Experience running codes.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Active an unrestricted Vermont State medical license.
  • Valid Vermont DEA license
  • BLS, ACLS certification
