A leading institution in neurological care, is seeking a
highly skilled neurologist with a background in Epilepsy or Neurodiagnostic, or both, and be able to perform and interpret EMGs, as well as manage general neurology cases. This is an exciting opportunity for a physician dedicated to providing high-quality,
patient-centered care in both specialized and general neurology settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive evaluations, diagnoses, and treatments for patients with
neurological conditions.
• Manage a broad spectrum of outpatient general neurology cases, addressing conditions
such as headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and more.
• Conduct and interpret EEGs (including Long-Term Monitoring), and other diagnostic
neurophysiological tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including neurosurgeons, advanced practice
providers, and other specialists, to develop integrated care plans.
• Maintain a strong focus on patient education and support throughout their treatment
journey.
• Support the growth and development of the Institute s epilepsy program, while
continuing to see general neurology patients.
Qualifications:
• Education: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Board Certification/Eligibility: Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
Fellowship training in Epilepsy and/or neurodiagnostics, or a closely related subspecialty
preferred.
• Licensing: Must be eligible for licensure in Florida and maintain an active medical
license.
• Skills:
o Strong clinical acumen in the diagnosis and management of both epilepsy and
general neurology conditions.
o Proficiency in EEG interpretation, neurophysiological testing, and advanced
diagnostic techniques.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients,
families, and the healthcare team.
o Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
