The facility features 145 beds and serves as an important trauma center for the region, providing critical care services to patients throughout the Lewis-Clark Valley area.
Opportunity: General Surgery-Complex Surgical Oncology
Job Details:
• Full-time coverage needed for 3-6 months (ongoing)
• Clinic responsibilities on Mondays and Wednesdays
• Surgery blocks on Tuesdays and Thursdays
• 24-hour call coverage required 7-10 days per month
• Approximately 15 patient encounters per shift
• Perform elective oncology surgeries
• Required skills include general adult surgery and trauma cases
• Laparoscopic surgery experience required, including appendectomy, cholecystectomy, and hernioplasty
• Must be comfortable with chest tube insertion
• Central line insertion and PA catheter placement preferred
• Liver surgery and GI endoscopy experience preferred
• Pediatric surgery experience preferred but not required
• ATLS certification required
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 60-90 days
• Active ID License or IMLC, BC/BE
Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Paid Travel and Lodging.
